Vag Blues # 30: How Am I Not Myself?
August 06, 2010 11:28 AM PDT
The last episode of VB (for now) is a teaser for a new season of Warty Theorems (SWEDA-based podcasts) coming up August 21st, a conversation between Mark and Jeremy of Doliones, on the head-fuck that SWEDA is, seeing through the sham of the constructed identity, using will to "do the right thing" instead of looking at inner distortions, being a white nigger, getting clobbered by JK, question of celibacy, perception management, does it ever really work, bringing up children without a core of knowing, catering to children's wants and needs, hating America, primal sexuality, the pros and cons of repressing desire, fucking chicks in the ass and coming on their faces, black chicks and white chicks, male bonding in "Jack-Offs Anonymous" (a.k.a SWEDA). Vag Blue # 29.5: The Pathless PathJuly 30, 2010 08:12 AM PDT
Part two of JK stoney ramble on the meta-trail of self-transformation, leaving behind the "facts" and moving into a description of the new form & direction SWEDA is taking, why boys just want to be with the boys (women and men to be kept to separate groups), how JK confused his Wife with his Muse and let his first lady "handle" him, and from there, into the deep, contemplative stuff you all know and love, how the equation of any personal agenda = zero, why death has no dominion, why fear only comes about with dishonesty, JK wonderfully lost on the path with a heart. Vag Blues # 29: The Meta-Narrative in ActionJuly 26, 2010 09:52 PM PDT
What is a meta-narrative? Here’s your chance to see the SWEDA method in action as a somewhat sun-baked (; )) but mostly coherent JK embarks on a bite-size vision quest under the influence, and does an animistic analysis of the signs as he goes. “If you want to know where you’re at, look around you.” Living in a consciousness system Universe means that our environment is in continuous communication with our consciousness, every single moment of our lives. Accepting this as a philosophical or magikal idea is one thing; living it in a moment-to-moment fashion is something else. A real examined life has less to do with sifting through one’s personal history, looking for meaning, than it does with allowing a living dialogue with one's surroundings. Most of you do this kind of thing when you’ve smoked enough pot or eaten some ‘shrooms. SWEDA teaches you how to do it all the time. JK shows how he does it, anyway; this episode was never intended to be a podcast, by the way, so beware of extreme tangents. Part two will be up on Friday. Vag Blues # 28: The Rules of EnmeshmentJuly 16, 2010 11:39 AM PDT
SWEDA is back! Not that we ever went away, but apparently some of you thought (or hoped) we had. JK talks about the “dis-enmeshment chamber,” about fear of people and our irrational discomfort with social interaction, why strangers activate our defense systems, how we enmesh and reach secret agreements with others in order to feel safe, JK’s encounter with a spider and why we don’t enmesh with bugs, why do we care what strangers think of us, how to interact and be open without attempting a personal connection, staying on the surface as a way to keep out of the wound, SWEDA and psychic martial arts, learning the rules of enmeshment, coming into a way of being that’s true and lightening the load, learning to use external obstacles and distortions to fine-tune our knowing, the delight of the impersonal. For a free one-week trial in the AA, fill in the form here. Serious applicants only. Vag Blues # 27: Momma's Boys & Daddy's GirlsJuly 10, 2010 08:50 AM PDT
JK talks about psychic vampirism as a fancy word for enmeshment, his fascination with Vampires, has a dialogue with the crows, “romance” as projecting wants and needs onto the other and securing others as an energy source, matching patterns vs. matching wounds, acquiescing to the impersonal in love, wandering through the desert of romantic alienation, creating thought-forms via projection and idealization of the other, the morphogenetic field of the matrix, living as livestock trained to feed off each other, the social contract of vampirism, the two opposing desires of the romantic seeker, individuation versus companionship, becoming upright through solitude, mother's boys and daddy's girls, meeting an alchemical other, ignoring what we know in order to believe our thoughts and feelings, the deeper fulfillment of being true to what we know is true, becoming the source of well-being, using a personal connection to another to disconnect from truth, future fantasies and trying to secure a comfort zone for life, being the giver and receiver, learning not to take, overcoming desire for the female as the prerequisite for uprightness. Vag Blues # 26: A Personal ArmageddonJuly 04, 2010 02:13 PM PDT
Jason Kephas back in Canada sums up his trip to the UK for the funeral of his brother Sebastian, when worlds collide, adapting to a new audience, a personal armageddon, the whores of Babylon, elements of opposition, the show-biz funeral, William Blake's baptism, company of mystical morons, seeing the body, death as an adviser, the context of eternity, Sebastian's crucifixion, the primal wound of father-rejection, death as a dot in Castaneda's notebooks, Philip K. Dick's 'reality as language,' Burroughs' language-virus, pre-verbal state, enlightenment as post-verbal consciousness, internal dialogue as defense mechanism, JDR and energy transmission, the future of SWEDA without words, the active side of infinity. Vag Blues # 25: First Shall Be the LastJune 26, 2010 11:52 AM PDT
Jason Kephas at baggage reclaim, ruminating on everyday mystery, what keeps him from being in what is, learning okayness, as compared to being tortured, this is not so bad, the sorcerers revelation evolving, tulpas and thought-forms being projected onto people in our lives as a way to bring the shadow back to our awareness, the error of specialness, and so on, and so forth. Vag Blues # 24: Dandy in the UnderworldJune 18, 2010 08:07 PM PDT
Jason's brother Sebastian Horsley, subject of Paper Tiger, died on June 17th. This is Jason's tribute and farewell to Sebastian, as well as being an exploration of the psychological complexities of their Cain & Abel-esque relationship. For those who have followed Jason's story so far, there is a more intimate version of this podcast, 15 minutes longer, and available at this address: http://www.archive.org/details/DandyInTheUnderworld Vag Blues # 23: The Cypher SyndromeJune 11, 2010 07:08 PM PDT
Gabriel from SWEDA 1 asks Jason why he does what he does, what's the end of all the self-examination and data-gathering, parallels with detective work, gathering clues to find the narrative, living life from the outside, learning to read the language of events, becoming awareness, the cover story of the internal dialogue, the unconscious load, the momentum of the past, why we get triggered by seemingly minor incidents, the many pins of sovereignty, wound-care, why self-esteem is overrated, how we can be at our best when we are unhappy, letting go of the cover story, being wonderfully worthless, investing in being a particle and ignoring the Wave form, the difference between being warmly OK and being coldly OK, settling for less, the power of disillusionment, the Cypher-syndrome, being busted, sticking to the facts: the body's experiences, the pitfalls of paranoid awareness, how amassing useless information interferes with our hunter-gatherer skills, where the need to "expose the conspiracy" comes from, seeing spirits as children, suppressing our knowing about the other realms, our primary experience of reality before agreeing to join Consensus, being trapped in a false narrative, new awareness finding new forms, Jason's Moroccan odyssey, community life, JK's Jesus complex, using other people's projections, Christ-embodying, and salvation via projection. Vag Blues # 22: There is No Big PictureJune 04, 2010 11:38 AM PDT
Jason Kephas returns (by unspoken demand) to Big Picture stuff, a commentary on the CBC show, The Origins of the Modern Public, on Masonic Sorcery Theater and how consensus reality is created, how royalty once decreed what was real, the shift-over from a totalitarian rule to "democratic" rule as the public came into being, how interpretations of reality are sold, Blue Velvet and how we adjust our own perceptions in order to reduce the cognitive dissonance of being given an "off" interpretation of reality, Van Gogh and how visionaries bring new interpretations of reality into being, while governments maintain the old interpretations, Columbus and the myth of accidental history, legend disguised as fact, why a new continent = a new paradigm, invalidating Ancient wisdom , how adding dots erases the old picture, purgatory, to burn or not to burn, severing the connection to the ancestors, Hamlet's existential dilemma, the necessity of consensus, the Eucharist and the addition of audience participation to maintain the spell, how autonomy is hijacked, the illusion of freedom, the inception of the information state, parallels with today and the Alt. Perceptions Community, new consensuses, the culture of persuasion, preaching as pitching, the reformation, the code of community life being "Do unto others," the evolution of a sovereign self and the slow awakening of the group mind, too many egos spoil the plot, every peasant wants to be king.
